Scott Adkins, an English actor, producer, screenwriter, gymnast, and martial artist, was born on June 17, 1976. In the films Undisputed II: Last Man Standing (2006), Undisputed III: Redemption (2010), and Boyka: Undisputed (2017), he portrayed the Russian prison fighter Yuri Boyka. He also portrayed Casey Bowman in the 2009 film Ninja and its 2013 sequel Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, and French in the 2018 film The Debt Collector and its 2020 sequel Debt Collectors.

Scott collaborated with his hero Jean-Claude Van Damme on four movies: The Expendables 2, The Assassination Games, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning, and The Shepherd: Border Patrol. On June 17, 1976, Scott Edward Adkins was born to a family of butchers in Sutton Coldfield, a town in Birmingham, England. At the age of ten, he first developed an interest in martial arts after visiting a nearby judo club with his father and older brother. He became even more interested in martial arts after being robbed at the age of 13. He started learning Taekwondo in the same year.
